I'm trying to get MLK to send a message when someone subscribes to a group. But not a double opt-in, because I don't want anything added to my subject line. So I unchecked all double opt-in options (screenshot), and made a custom message for a group. But the option not to send a double opt-in, is grayed out and therefore can't be changed (screenshot).

What am I doing wrong here? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Nigel.

I thought so, but needed to be sure. I already had MLK send some unintended messages to unsubsribers, and wanted to avoid this from happening again.

Hi

You need not do anything.

The group-specific "subscribe confirmation" option is set to "Send Default" and the default (File > Options, Double Opt-In) is to do nothing, so nothing will be sent.
