I'm getting a Error message which states, "You have not specified your sender (reply) address. You can do so under File > Options > Sending.

I have five instances of MLK which makes tracking down the cause of this a bit tricky. But the real problem I'm having is until the error is cleared MLK is hung. MLK is running in RAC mode so the only time we know it's hung is when messages aren't being delivered.

I don't think the configuration is at fault, I think it's being caused by spammers.

In looking through the Automated Emails I'm seeing a lot of spam. (Not sure how it's getting there.) One of the messages generated the following error message.
"Unexpected Error the selected task (-1) doesn't have a recipient table."

Any idea what's going on?

Thanks

Can you post debug instructions?

Hi Doug

Thanks, I'll look out for them. What would be best, though, would you to be generate a debug log next time the problem occurs.

Nigel,
Using authorized email addresses for sending, group ID, and password so they are not being sent but for some reason MLK in processing the messages comes to a hard stop.

emailing you some screenshots and emails.

Doug

Hi Doug

Are you using the RAC password parameter to avoid such abuse? Can you forward some of the messages (as attachments) to me for analysis?

Update.
I figured out which mailing list and how the messages are being queued to be sent. They appear to be cleverly crafted emails which are in replies to messages sent to the members on the mailing list. I have not had enough time to investigate, but somehow the replies are being processed by MLK for sending and then crash MLK by generating a error. Manually clearing the error and the message and everything works again.
