Hi Nigel

We are getting all kinds of rejects from ATT.net and their servers. However we find that if we have a first name then they get through properly.
Is there anyway to have MLK force or create a name from the email address given if no first name is provided?

For example:

Someone sends an email to us that says kilogram239@gmail.com

So the first name would be Kilogram239 - something like that.

Is this possible with MLK and if it is can it run through the existing database to add a first name from stored email addresses?

Thanks Nigel

Hi Bruce

So you are using the field %FirstName% to personalize your emails?

In that case, you can just specify a default value for %FirstName% to use when the field has no value.

On the message sending toolbar, click "Options" in the "Personalize" box. Then specify %EMAIL_USER_NAME% as your default value.
