Hi, ive noticed that MailKing lets you specify reply addresses

We have a dedicated server and only send out from accounts hosted on it.

We want to send out a mailshot for another domain not hosted with us, and wondered whether when we specify a reply address to an email account on the other server this will cause us to be marked as spam or back our servers ip as the reply address will not match the hostname of the email server

Hi Rob

Yes, messages sent with a reply address that does not match the designated server are more likely to be marked as Spam. This is primarily due to "Sender Policy Framework".

However you can have them edit their SPF record to avoid this.
