I am attempting to set up the software for the first time and use the MLK internal SMTP server. Test messages are failing and I've clearly got something wrong in the set-up. What are the key settings?

Hi Verge

Unfortunately the main things you need to adjust to get a local mail server working are outside of MailList King.

Please see:

And if you still have problems do a test sending to at least ten recipients (of different domains) and then forward me your log file as follows:

1. Run MLK and click Ctrl+Shift+I.
2. Check the box to display your "Sending Logs" folder and click "OK"
3. In that folder your log files are named "mail_sent_*.txt" with the date of the delivery included in the name. Find the files of the relevant date and send them to me
