I send emails out who fail. I receive an email 'Mailer - demon' with in the subject failure notice. Even after some time it will not remove the address from the mailinglist. Before I used my outlook and now I want to change using MLK's smtp.
Can you explain how can I remove these failures from my list.
many thx

By default, MLK will only process one bounce per member per week (because a failed delivery can sometimes generate multiple bounce reports). The message you are referring to means that MLK has already processed a bounce for that member this week.
You can confirm this by searching that member's email address in history. There should be another bounce report for them.

undeliverable message count not increased because the count has already been recently adjusted for this member.
But i did not adjust anything.
what to do next? |

After MLK processes the message, does it increase the bounce count for the relevant user? (Edit > Edit Member)
Under View > Options, History, what does it say regarding the processing of that bounce message?

No I use MLK rules and not Outlook. MLK makes the message into another folder, so process is good, but not te removal of the address.

Posted - Apr 23 2010 : 01:08:06 Hi Will
Are you using Outlook rules to move such messages to your email processing folder (specified in MLK under View > Options, Email Processing). If so, after you click "Check for New" has the message been deleted or ignored?
Are other undeliverable message reports being processed?
