 importing from a backup?

I accidentally deleted a group from my mailing list. So I thought the easiest thing is to re-import the entire list from the backup. BAD IDEA! Did anyone ever try this before? My entire mailing list of 15000+ is messed up.
The columns can't match up from the CSV that it saved on members signed up different numbers of groups, because it separates each group with a comma in the record. Therefore no records can be formatted because they all differ from each other.
Is there a way to fix this and get a clean import?? please help!!

Hi Sylvester

Unfortunately there is an issue in v9.0 - 9.02 whereby CSV fields were not enclosed in quotes, leading to the issue you describe.

Firstly, if you have a full backup of your database files available (and we all back up our data, right ), use that.
