I am using MLK v9.02 on Win7 with Outlook 2007

When the email processing process runs for subscribe and unsubscribe, it keeps pausing and prompting me to choose a Group ...

Is there a way that i can set a default group for unsubscribes to prevent the constant stopping of the email processing to prompt me to choose a group?

Hi

When a user requests to be unsubscribed from a mailing list, we need to know what groups they want to leave. Either they specify an unsubscribe group or they can omit it. If they omit it then MLK - by default - assumes they no longer want to receive any newsletters from you (and thus unsubscribes them from all groups).

The user can specify the group(s) to unsubscribe from as follows:

Unsubscribe Group_1
Unsubscribe Group_1,Group_2,Group_3

How do i handle a situation where i have unrelated groups, and a person wants to unsubscribe from one group only?

For unsubscribes you can't choose to only unsubscribe from the default group, rather it can default to removing the member from all groups.

My default group was already selected, but its being ignored.

My default group was already selected, but its being ignored since the option to choose a default group is only in the subscribe box drop down list and not in the unsubscribe.

Hi

Sure, select View > Options, Groups, and choose the option to default to the specified group.
