I can't find any question in the forum specifically on this issue, so am creating a new topic. I'm a new user of MailList King - have installed and set it up only this week, and today sent out our first newlsetter mailing using the program.

(I'm using the POP server to send and receive messages, as my usual email program is not one of the most popular ones like Outlook that work directly with MailList King)

The process is still running - with pauses, because of our ISP sending limits, but a weird message is appearing in the error log.

I have had four 'undeliverable' messages so far - and it looks as though that process is working perfectly. The error log lists them, and I'll be able to phone people to follow up on the bounces. BUT after processing these messages, the error log also has four other (presumably associated) error messages: "[email address] not found while processing undeliverable message" And the [email address] is our own - the account I have set up specifically for our newsletters and for sending and receiving messages with MailList King.

That account and email address is working fine for sending and receiving messages - it's been exhaustively checked through all the creation and testing things I did while setting up MailList King. :-)

So I have no idea what these four messages signify. Any advice?

Finally I'll add that, in spite of this particular issue, I'm finding MailList King is working beautifully! It's just what we needed to help us automate our newsletter database and distribution.

As a complete newbie, it took me a while to get my head around all the various aspects of setting it up - including creating subscription, account management and unsubscribe forms for our site. But MailList King is the first program I've found that makes things relatively easy to set up and helps with every step of that process.

Many thanks for a wonderful program. :-)

Cheers, Sue

Hi Nigel

Many thanks for that reassurance. I'm glad it's nothing to concern me, and will ignore those messages and simply delete the records.

Thank you also for the fast reply.

Cheers, Sue

Hi Sue

I wouldn't overly concern yourself with that log entry.

There is no accepted format for "Undeliverable Message" reports, so when MLK processes one it finds all of the addresses in the message and if they are found in the database it updates their undeliverable status.

It often happens that the sender/reply addresses also ends up being checked in this manner.
