Hi Nigel,

I am starting to use my MLK v7.32 on a Vista/office 2007 computer. It probably isn't related to that but I have found that when I copy HTML coding from out template and paste it into the Edit HTML box, special characters like dashes, apostrophes, quotation marks and copyright signs change to the character itself. It looks fine on Outlook 2007 but not in Outlook 2003 where there are empty squares and ) instead of the copyright sign. I did the same on my XP computer with MLK 6.06 and the coding did not change and it was fine on both versions of Outlook. This changing coding to put in a copyright sign with the copyright sign itself (which does not display properly)

Thanks,
Sharon

Here is a sample of the problem:
Original coding:
<div align="center" style="BACKGROUND:#EAB610; COLOR:#000000; FONT-SIZE: 11px; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet MS">
<br>

-----
Changed coding:
<DIV
style="FONT-SIZE: 11px;

BACKGROUND: #eab610; COLOR: #000000;

FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Arial,

Helvetica, Trebuchet MS"
align=center><BR>Copyright ©

Hi again,

This problem just happened when I pasted the coding into the forum message.
Here is the important original part again without the brackets:
