Posted - Nov 16 2007 : 07:26:19 We currently own and use MLK "Professional Edition V6.28R", and we want to upgrade to the new V7.0. But we're confused about the terminology used for this new version. We don't see an upgrade option to a "Professional" version. It only shows that we can upgrade to either "Personal", "Business", or "Corporate".
What we're trying to figure out is, if we upgrade from "Professional" to "Personal", are we losing any of our current features? Or would we need to upgrade to the "Business" version to maintain all the current features we now have in the "Professional" version?
This is a tad confusing.

Posted - Nov 18 2007 : 14:34:00 Hi Phil and Tink,
I'm sorry we could have been better at explaining that one, MLK Personal will offer the same feature set you had with MLK Professional. We changed the name because "Professional" sounded too close to "Business"
One of the main gain with the business version is priority support. Mark your message to support as "urgent" and it will move to the top of the support queue.
Other features: - Sharing of databases over a network to allow multiple users to simultaneously manage your mailing list - Remote Administration Commands so you can manage your mailing list from anywhere - Simultaneous delivery via multiple mail servers for maximum sending speed - Read and write your mailing list directly from other database software using ODBC
