Posted - Apr 27 2007 : 22:10:28 I have a suggestion for a future enhancement.
I use the double opt-in method with my subscribers. I regularly monitor the list of outstanding requests for confirmation. I noticed that one of the outstanding requests had a simple syntax error in the email address (there was a space before the '@')- but there was no way to edit the entry and allow MLK to process it.
In other words, my only options would be
1. to bypass the opt-in and approve the subscription (and then edit it) 2. delete the record and hope the person comes back, or 3. delete it AND manually notify the person of the error.

Thanks for the detail. I'll look into this for the next update.

MLK seems to be ignoring it. When I go into View History/Double Opt-in, under the subscribes, the user's email address remains there. If I try to manually force MLK to process it, it warns me that the email address is invalid. I presume that MLK won't process it further on its own either and it will sit there indefinitely.

In particular, was MLK leaving the message that had the invalid address format in your Outlook message folder? (i.e. it was being ignored by MLK/not processed).
