Hi everyone! I want to lose weight. But I have problems calculating calories. I heard that to reach your goal you need to consider how many calories you need to consume. How do you do this? Are there any tips or tools that you use? I have heard of TDEE, but I don’t quite understand what it is. Do I need to do complicated calculations or are there easier ways? I want to avoid complicated formulas, I just need to understand how many calories I need to lose weight. Thanks for any advice!

To calculate your calorie intake for weight loss, start by determining your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), which is the number of calories your body needs to perform basic functions at rest. Next, factor in your activity level to estimate your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). Subtract 500–750 calories from your TDEE to create a calorie deficit, which is essential for weight loss. For a quick and accurate calculation, use https://gwa-calculator.net/ to input your details and get personalized results.

Hi! I use calorie calculators too. I like how quick and easy it is. Make sure you're eating enough fiber and vegetables. It helps you feel full.

Actually, it’s not as complicated as it seems. TDEE stands for “total calories you burn per day.” To calculate it, you need to know your BMR (basal metabolic rate) and activity level. I recommend using the free tdee calculator. It’s very convenient and helps you get the data you need quickly. Once you know your TDEE, you can set weight loss goals by adding or removing calories from your diet. It’s important to include protein, fat, and carbohydrates in your diet. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different foods and track your progress.
