Greetings techies!

I am a regular user of Firebase, which is backed up by Google Cloud. There is no doubt that Firebase is an excellent BaaS platform for building, running, testing, and hosting web and mobile applications. However, I am looking for an entirely open-source alternative to Firebase.

When I did online research, I found this https://blog.back4app.com/firebase-alternatives/ thorough guide,, which discusses one of the top-notch Firebase substitutes and their key features. I shortlisted the following options hereof.

Back4app - Back4app is an open-source, low-code BaaS or Backend as a Service provider that has a user-friendly dashboard to build and host server-side functionalities. Authentication, Live Queries, cloud functions, notifications, storage, REST, and GraphQL APIs are primary offerings of this CSP.

AWS Amplify - The global data centers and infrastructure of Amazon Web Services are remarkable among CSPs. My team is definitely considering this option to deal with backend and frontend of applications.

Supabase - Supabase is another popular option on our desk. Realtime queries, vertical scaling, edge functions and portable databases are key highlights of this platform.

I would like to know your experience with these Firebase alternatives.
