LOads into background music on pixplay but when SS is previewed no sound .Other tracks on the same slide show play OK. Format of music file MPEG layer 3 which is the same as the other music files which work OK. Have had problems with Itunes in the past as they use as standard AAC but have learnt to convert to MPEG. This is not the same problem |

OK. I expect it is a higher bitrate or other less common MP3 type.

Yes other MP3 files work OK. They appear to be the same as the one that will not work Suggest I email the music file to you to see what you make of it

When you say you "saved" the codec pack. Do you mean you went through the installation wizard and installed it?

Posted - Jul 26 2011 : 06:49:27 Nigel Have downloaded Klite Codex pack 4.1 .6 full and ssved in Program File folder. Music track still will not play on Slide show. When clicking on Play Track the message " An error was encounted on the thornbird mp3. You may not have adequate drivers to play the format ( no MCI device open)" Having stored the Codex pack do0 I have to do anything else or does Pixplay automatically go and search out the drivers. Perhaps if I emailed the music track to you it would allow tou to see the problem Terry |

Posted - Jul 25 2011 : 12:35:49 Hi Terry
PixPlay uses your system drivers for playback of multimedia files and some MP3 file types are not supported well by the drivers.
Try using an improved codec by downloading the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack:
