Posted - Aug 24 2010 : 20:49:27 I have had some confusion distinguishing between file names, project names and title frame names. Sometimes these names are similar or identical. It appears that the top title bar displays the .pxp name and the title frame name (if one exists). When asked to select a name from a drop down menu to perform a task, I have found it confusing, having to analyze the situation to figure out which of the various names I am looking for.
To further confuse the issue, in a couple of instances I wanted to change a file name and, rather than clicking on "Save," I clicked on "Save As." Then when following the steps to "Burn Multiple Slideshows to Disk," the list of available file names included the original names, not the renamed ones (or so it appeared to me). I would like to see the top title bar on open projects look something like this:
Folder Name/File name: ### Slideshow name: ### Title Frame name: ###
Related to this, would it be possible to build into the program menu options such as these?
Rename Data File Rename Project Delete Project Files
The only way I could see to delete a project was to delete all the related files, but when I did that I received a message that some of the files could not be deleted because it was linked somehow to the already deleted files.

Posted - Aug 25 2010 : 16:54:45 Hi Murray
When creating a new project you need to specify a name for it. This name is initially used for the filename, but if you change the name of the project later (under Edit > Slideshow Properties) it does not affect the filename.
Generally use of File > Save As should be avoided.
The project name is also the default text for: - Title Pages - Menu items when creating a multiple slideshow disk
We plan to add support for project deletion in a later release. The current process is outlined at:
