I am running Windows Vista and DVD PixPlay v5.10. I have imported a PowerPoint presentation, edited it and burned it to disk in Combined DVD & PC format, widescreen.
The presentation runs fine on my widescreen PC but when I run it on a tv (I have tried two widescreen ones)the sides are cropped. Since my captions are all at the left or right hand edge, I am losing them.
Can you help me please?!

I have had this problem from time to time. Overcame it by reducing the size of the image and putting a black frame around it. A bit of experimentation needed but it works for me

Thanks for your reply and apologies for not acknowledging it earlier. I've tried your suggestions but still lose the side edges of my slides when running on tv's. Have resorted to moving all my captions to a more central position in PowerPoint and then re-coverting it in PixPlay!

The display area for TV's is not fixed. While LCD TV's are much better than the old CRT ones some still hide more of the video frame than expected.
You should also check that your images are not being "Auto-cropped"
Select Frame > Frame Properties and disable the "Automatic Cropping" option on the "Remove Borders" tab.
If you have checked that the full frame displays when you show the disk on the computer, then how the TV displays it is out of the control of PixPlay.
Also,if you are using any MOTION EFFECTS,in PixPlay select the particular image where parts are not showing. Select Frame > Frame Properties, Motion Effect tab.
On that page choose a different motion effect that shows all of the frame that you like. Or create your own custom start and end position.
