Just downloaded 5.10. And it works as smoothly as the previous versions. Thanks for continuing to put out a quality product.
I do have a question however. I notice hat when producing the slide show the video dimensions ends up at 640x480. I had thought that DVD was 720x480. But I see no option to allow me to set the output to 720x480.
Am I missing something?

Just wanted to say thanks for all the help,Nigel. I finally managed to get what I was after. <Smile>

Admittedly, the 720p is akin to molasses in February, but PixPlay did allow me to produce a video that YouTube would process as HD.

YouTube doesn't really mind what format you supply the video in as it reencodes it anyway. DVD PixPlay achieves best quality with MPEG format, so I would recommend that.

One last thing, if I may. Is any of the outputs better than the others for YouTube? I liked to be able to manage full 720p quality.

Hi Gene
Yes, those are the steps. You select "YouTube Compliant" first so it sets the intial YouTube compatibility settings, then select "Custom" and change the video dimensions to your requirements.

Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, I'll detail my steps.
1. Burn to Disk : Burn Slideshow to Disk
2. Slideshow format: Other Video Format. Click 'Next'
3.a TV Display Options:
TV Format: Standard (NTSC)
Output Quality: Highest
Checked 'Stretch slideshow to match music length
3.b Video Otions:
Format: YouTube compliant video
When Format is 'YouTube compliant', both Video Size and Video Type are greyed out.
If I change Format to 'Custom Format', I can modify size and select type.
Assuming I should use 'Custom' rather than 'YouTube compliant' if I want 720x480 size?
Being a bit of a Noob with all this, which output format would be best to display on YouTube?

Select the video file option (instead of YouTube) then click Next. On that screen select YouTube compatibility and then change the dimensions to your requirements.

Nigel,
Suspect my problem was that I had TV aspect set to 4:3 in one of the settings. Changed that to Wide angle and all is now well.

It should never be 640x480 for DVD format slideshows. Can you give me more details on what you are doing?
