I have no problem making a workable DVD of pictures. What I would like to do is archive (save) a folder of the actual pictures on the same disk as the DVD. This way I have a 'historical' record of the pictures to show but a saved copy of every picture in its full format.
I have tried using Nero and Roxio by burning the PixPlay files and then the folder but then I cannot seem to close (finalize) the DVD so it plays automatically on any DVD player. What would be really neat is if PixPlay allowed you to burn multi slideshow but not close the disk - then add the folders of pictures and close the DVD.
Any ideas?

Hi Bob

If you are burning single slideshow disks you can include a copy of all images/vidoes in the project by enabling the DVD + PC option.

You can prevent the disk being finalized by changing a hidden option.

1. Open the windows registry editor

2. Navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xequte\DVD PixPlay

3. Change the value of: "DiskBurnFinalize" to "False"

NOTE: Ensure you finalize the disk before use. Many DVD players will not play an unfinalized disk
