Posted - Jan 26 2009 : 19:32:34 Hello My old computer is struggling with previewing my slideshows they play ok on the TV. I am going to upgrade to a laptop if I get one with 2g of ram 320G hd is there anything else that I should consider.

Posted - Jan 27 2009 : 01:42:12 You will probably find it difficult to get anything that does not run Vista as its OS. So if you can fund it try to get a bit more ram. Upto 4 gig would be great. Also as fast a processor as you can afford. Try also to ensure that it has a Firewire port if you intend to do any work with video editting. I bought my wife an Acer Aspire 5920 which fills most of those criterea but is deffinately a bit short on ram.But she is happy with it.
