Posted - Jan 01 2009 : 06:52:39 Hi...just got a copy of PixPlay 4.06 and seems pretty good, but having a couple of audio related issues.
I've built a slide show with the aspect ratio locked to widescreen, added pans and zooms, added 3 audio tracks. This runs fine in preview mode. Burned to DVD, Pal, widescreen, using 'highest' quality (not the 'alternate' option), selected the 'fit slideshow to soundtrack' option. Burned to disc using PixPlay.
The DVD plays fine on the TV, but when I play the DVD on the PC, the audio quality is poor - continual 'cracking' noises, a bit like skipping.
Appreciate there could be many causes for this, but before I start digging into sound card and DVD drivers etc in the PC (it plays shop bought DVDs fine), just wondered if there was anything known in PixPlay that might be causing this? |

Almost all skipping problems can be resolved by doing one or more of the following: - Specifying the highest quality encoding option (using the Alternate encoder) on Step 2 of the "Burn Disk" wizard - Going into View>Options>Other Options> Advanced>Compatibility and changing the DVD MPEG Audio Setting
