I am new to all of this.I have just burnt a DVD and the left side of a lot of photos were not there on playback,also the zoom was greater than I wanted.Is there a way around these two problems?

I'm not sure about the missing left side of the photo. Does it happen even if you disable motion effects? None of the options you mention should affect it.
> Selection is Smaller than the output dimensions
If you get this message you should almost always increase the size of your selection so that PixPlay does not need to enlarge the size of your image (which is a image quality no-no).
> Standard or Higher
Standard, unless you encounter some problem (sound or image quality related, not cropping)
> DVD or DVD + PC
If it is only for TV playback then DVD
> JPEG % Quality
The default or higher (there is little reason to change this)

Hi Guys
Sorted out the zooming issue but still cutting off the left side of photo.
I have a standard TV so burnt a disc on standard Pal 4:3
When I was was putting in my image motions it kept telling me warning your selection is smaller than the output dimensions and will reduce the display quality.
So my questions are
Should I burn standard or higher ?
DVD or DVD & PC format ? ( I only want to play back on TV )
What % JPEG ?
In other settings it says not to go smaller than 1920 X 1152 for frame size and quality, so what is the recommended ?
As I said earlier I'm very new at all this, so any help would be much appreciated.

Iv'e been there also,somewhere early I had the chance to change the zoom from 20% to greater zoom,I changed to 50% and found it to great now I can't find where I did that,I want to come back to 20 or 30%.

From the FRAME MENU >SELECT FRAME PROPERTIES
Cick on the frame under the Start Position--set to the size you want
Click on the frame under the End Postions--set to the size you want
Under the select Motion Effect -- set to the transition you want from the various dropdown choices

Select CONTENTS
Select INDEX TAB
Select FRAME PROPERTIES from the dropdown list
Double click on FRAME PROPERTIES
Read how to setup the various Frame Settings
