Posted - Jan 01 2007 : 02:55:31 I have installed audio drivers as advised by my notebook manufacturer but still have no sound from narration on PixPlay. It shows length of narration recorded. Any suggestions? |

Posted - Jan 11 2009 : 23:35:07 Hi Nigel & all Two years down the track, newer computer and latest Pixplay program, trying a narration once again and I still have the same problem!!
I have recorded a narration for a 10 minute 30 sec video which is showing in the slideshow properties as a "Narration.wav" file. No audible response to 'Play file' or 'Preview'
The sound recorder works OK and I had all of the boxes ticked in Master Volume/Options/Recording. Maybe I should only tick microphone?
Any suggestions TIA

Posted - Jan 01 2007 : 02:55:31 Hi Bevday
Do other sound files play on your computer?
Try going into the Start Menu, All Programs, Accessories, Entertainment and running the Sound Recorder. Make a test recording with that. If it doesn't work (i.e. Windows own recorder doesn't work) then nor will PixPlay's.

Try looking in control panel, sounds and audio devices and check volume from there.
