Hi Nigel -- MLK started doing this about a month ago. It goes through the entire repair process on the DB every time I start the program. Whet needs to be done to avoid this?

Hi

Something is triggering the repair process, most likely an improper shutdown that cannot be fixed within the program.

Please try the method below:

Well, that was a disaster. I ended up with the Welcome to Mail List King setup screen. All of my settings are gone (dozens of autoresponders, etc.).. Ugh. Too bad the DB can't be more bulletproof.

Hi

That seems an unlikely result. Repair cannot affect settings, only the database of members and groups, etc.

Are you sure you have opened the correct folder containing your database?

Select File > Open Mailing List and ensure you browse to the folder containing your correct database.
