I'm getting Access violation errors when sending messages.

Exact error is Access violation at address 00F........ in module MLKing.exe.
Read of address 0000084.

It looks like I'm getting these messages during the retires. This last send cycle I received about 10-15 of them.

Any ideas as to what's going on?

Ahhh I think this explains why sometimes the documentation does not agree with the documentation.

Odd I didn't get the error with the last email blast I sent out.

Hi

When sending via RAC the message is not stored in completed tasks after sending. You can enable debug logging to track it.

I did not have a problem this time.

I'm looking in Message Center/Completed Tasks and it's empty.
Not sure if this matters, but I send using RAC. (I would not think so.)

Hi

The other method is to open the sending task in the MLK Outbox/Completed task folder. Then click "Sending Log" Copy and Paste the result into an email.

Nigel,
Just getting ready to send an email blast. (First one since I posted the question.) Followed your instructions but the SendLogs dir is empty.

I'm sending out a message now. In message sending progress I clicked on Show Log which opens the Spending Log window.

Send date time is 1/3 at 11:01 am. Could I find the file by date time?

Thanks

Hi Doug

Can you please email me the log file for the sending task:

1. Run MLK and click Ctrl+Shift+I.
2. Check the box to display your "Sending Logs" folder and click "OK"
3. In that folder your log files are named "mail_sent_*.txt" with the date of the delivery included in the name. Find the files of the relevant date and send them to me
